Key becomes CEO at o2
The first major boardroom shake-up at o2 will see UK finance director Matthew Key take up the role of UK chief executive officer.
Key, formerly a senior finance professional with Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Schweppes and Grand Met, has served at o2 since February 2002. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Young in 1987.
His replacement will be announced ‘in due course’.
Former CEO Dave McGlade is relocating to the US with his family after four years in the role, and COO Vivek Dev will have his role expanded.
