New senior staff appointed at CIPFA
CIPFA has appointed two new senior staff to fill the posts of assisstant technical and international director and technical manager.
CIPFA has appointed two new senior staff to fill the posts of assisstant technical and international director and technical manager.
John Stanford joins CIPFA from the Audit Commission to to become assisstant director with responsibility for accounting, audit, treasury and capital finance issues as well as providing support to the UK CCAB representatuves on the IFAC and FEE public sector committees.
The new technical manager, Ian Fifield, joins from Anglia Polytechnic University where he specialised in public sector accounting and auditing.
Vernon Sore, policy and technical director,said: ‘CIPFA is very pleased to welcome John and Ian to its staff. Both bring considerable technical skills and experience combined with an understanding of the practical issues facng public service financial managers.’
