UK internet usage behind
UK companies risk losing internet-based business to European competitors, according to a study commissioned by Oracle and the Institute of Directors. The research, which questioned 500 board directors across 11 European countries, found that UK business was lagging behind Europe over internet use.
BASDA green lights nine Software trade association BASDA announced this week that nine more accounts packages have been accredited by Moret Ernst & Young under BASDA’s EMU-compliance specification. A total of 15 packages have now received the BASDA seal of approval. The six second-wave packages are: Masterpiece/Net 1.2, Tas Books Accounting 3.15, Exchequer Enterprise 4.3, Dynamics v5.1 and Dynamics C/S (both from Great Plains), QSP Financials 4.5E, Access Accounts very3+, PeopleSoft Applications 7.5 and System 21 v3.5.2b from JBA.
Pegasus updates P11D Pegasus Software, of Kettering, has updated its P11D program. The price for P11D version 2.0 starts at #250 for a 50-employee system.
