Global joins Microsoft club

US developer Great Plains has acquired the rights to consolidation and budgeting software developed by Telenor Financial Systems, a subsidiary of the Norwegian telecoms company. The $4.4m (#2.7m) deal means Great Plains can add consolidation program product Sover to its Dynamics C/S+ rage.

Integrated applications

Daventry-based OpenAccounts has integrated its modular financial applications with PSsystem manufacturing planning and control software from PS Industry Group. The combined applications are designed for made-to-order industries, and are available for Unix and Windows NT operating systems.

Global joins Microsoft club

Global Business Systems, of Bourne End, Bucks, has joined accounting software vendors such as Sage, Coda and SquareSum as a Microsoft Solutions Provider partner. Around 100 UK IT companies have achieved this status.
