UK companies could be heading for a ‘euro meltdown’, Exchequer Software is warning. The accounting software vendor has issued a wake-up call to UK companies working within the eurozone, who will need to start invoicing and ordering in euros by the end of this year. Oracle has announced slowed sales growth as it released its fourth-quarter figures last week. Despite the fall, the company could take heart from an overall income of $855m (£604m), or $0.15 per share, on revenues of $3.3bn. ‘While the economy’s growth slowed, we still managed to increase profits and improve margins,’ said CFO, Jeff Henley.
