A round of internal restructuring has led to the appointment of Adrian Grace, head of Sage’s accountants’ division, as head of the company’s customer division. UK companies could be heading for a ‘euro meltdown’, Exchequer Software is warning. The accounting software vendor has issued a wake-up call to UK companies working within the eurozone, who will need to start invoicing and ordering in euros by the end of this year. Oracle has announced slowed sales growth as it released its fourth-quarter figures last week. Despite the fall, the company could take heart from an overall income of $855m (£604m), or $0.15 per share, on revenues of $3.3bn. ‘While the economy’s growth slowed, we still managed to increase profits and improve margins,’ said CFO, Jeff Henley. Great Plains partner Eclipse Computing has launched a fully integrated, mobile version of Great Plains Siebel Front Office CRM suite of applications designed for the mid-market. Eclipse has just entered into a relationship with AvantGo, to supply its mobile CRM solution, providing both wireless and offline direct access to Great Plains Siebel Front Office.
