    Costain appoints new FD

    Bickerstaff set to leave Taylor Woodrow for FD job at Costain

    FTSE-listed construction group Costain has appointed Anthony Bickerstaff as
    finance director, succeeding Charles McCole later in the year.

    Bickerstaff has served with the Taylor Woodrow group since 1982 and is
    currently the company’s FD.

    ‘I am delighted to welcome Tony Bickerstaff to Costain. He has considerable
    experience both in the industry and the finance arena,’ said Costain chairman
    David Jeffries.

    ‘He will be an able successor to Charles McCole who has made a significant
    contribution to our successful recovery and whom we wish well for the future.’
