Prudential finance director Les Cullen has resigned his post with the UK’s largest life assurer five months after joining and only days before the company was due to announce full-year results. Cullen, who had no previous experience in the financial services industry, is expected to remain with the company for the next few months. Prudential quickly moved to reassure the sector that nothing was amiss financially.
