UK firm helps on four-way merger
Solomon Hare creates biggest EU berry research group
Mid-tier firm Solomon Hare has
helped create Europe’s largest berry growing, marketing and research business
after working on a merger which involved companies from the UK, US, Holland and
Spain
Wokring alongside law firm Burges
Salmon, the firm has helped create a £202m business made up of UK producer
KG Fruits, US-owned Driscoll Strawberry Associates, Dutch firm Berry Alliance
and Spanish group Alconeras’ UK operation.
The new group is known as
Berry
Gardens.
Solomon Hare corporate finance partner Philip Moody will be a non-executive
director.
