Top FD bags Lord Chancellor's finance post

A former Price Waterhouse man has bagged the new post of director general of finance in the Lord Chancellor's department.

Simon Ball began work with Price Waterhouse in 1984 but then moved to Kleinwort Benson where he worked in corporate finance.

He became FD at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and later joined the Robert Fleming Holdings as group FD.

In the Lord Chancellor’s Department he will oversee a budget running to £2.7bn.
