VT Group names new group FD
Philip Harrison becomes new finance director, while acting FD becomes group commerical director
Philip Harrison becomes new finance director, while acting FD becomes group commerical director
VT Group, the FTSE 250 defence company, has appointed Philip Harrison as its
new group FD.
Harrison will start on November 19, the company said in a
stock
exchange statement.
Current acting FD Chris Cundy is to become group commercial director.
Harrison was previously vice president, finance, at Hewlett-Packard for its
Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Paul Lester, chief executive of VT Group, said ‘With Philip’s experience of
working in large US services organisations and his background in working on
large multi-national IT outsourcing contracts, I am confident that he will prove
to be a key addition to the team as we drive ahead with our ambitious plans. I
would like to thank Chris Cundy for the role he has undertaken as acting finance
director. As group commercial director, Chris will now be able to focus fully on
our significant opportunities in PFI, business development and the shipbuilding
joint venture’
