The Putney MP, former business strategy manager for GlaxoSmithKline and
assistant audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, was Tory Party vice-chairman
and spokesman on youth.
She joins accountant Mark Hoban, MP for Fareham and former senior manager at
PricewaterhouseCoopers, who has retained his post as a shadow Treasury Minister.
Former KPMG taxation accountant Nick Gibb, MP for Bognor Regis and
Littlehampton, has also kept his post as shadow schools minister.
The news came as the Tories also renewed their pledge to restore tax benefits
for married couples.
A Tory policy group suggested giving people who are married £20 a week, under
plans to outdo Labour in their support of families. David Cameron has backed the
broad thrust of the proposals.
