Fashion labels begin to woo bankers
Lenders are beginning to treat new fashion labels sympathetically, according to Hazlems Fenton, the only accountancy firm permitted to exhibit during London Fashion Week.

The firm believes banks and other lenders have started to treat fashion houses more generously as knowledge about the industry increases.
Jon Barron, a partner at the firm, said: ‘Lenders are beginning to understand the cyclical nature of the business.’
Hazlems is to launch a series of accountancy surgeries for fashion companies at the end of February.
‘The major issues will be around whether to form limited companies or remain as sole traders or partnerships,’ said Barron.
