Old Mutual appoints South African FD as non-exec director
Former Shell man agrees to independent non-executive position
A South African FD has been appointed non-executive director of international
savings and wealth management group, Old Mutual.
Bongani Nqwababa, FD of Eskom Holdings which provides electricity to the
residential and commercial sectors in South Africa, has agreed to take on the
position from April 1.
His responsibilities include looking over treasury, procurement, corporate
and financial planning as well as the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund.
He previously held senior financial roles which included Treasurer and CFO of
Shell Southern Africa.
