    Andersen Corporate Finance has topped the Zephus accountancy lead adviser league, working on 31 deals with a total value of #4.6bn (see below).The Big Five firm advised the management of Yell Ltd during its #2bn institutional buy-out from BT and helped Bass in its acquisition of Posthouse Hotels from Compass for #810m. KPMG was ranked second in terms of deal value, but completed 72 deals, including Royal Bank Private Equity’s buy-out of Doncasters.
