Siebel on Great Plains
Great Plains, the mid-market financial software specialist, is to act as a worldwide reseller for Siebel Systems, which specialises in customer relationship management software. The Web-based product, called Great Plains Siebel Front Office, will integrate with Great Plains financial software. Available from November, it will be priced at £514 per user and run on Microsoft’s SQL Server database.
Quick fix for Y2K Scala Business Solutions, the Dutch financial software house, has launched a financial software package that can be implemented within three to six weeks. Designed as a quick Year 2000 fix, Scala Year 2000 Intensive Care includes a general and sales ledger, plus multi-currency features. It is also euro-compliant.
New system for PACE Government agency Property Advisers to the Civil Estate has signed an order worth more than £200,000 for software from Systems Union and Foundation Systems. The new administrative system for PACE’s 190 staff will be based around SunSystems financial software and recording and billing software called Tempo software, from Foundation Systems. It will run on Microsoft’s SQL server database.
