KPMG sets up US private equity group

New arm recognises that more investments are being made in private equity than the stock market

Big Four firm KPMG is forming a
private
equity group
which will be headed by long-term partner Donald Spitzer.

Spitzer said the move is in recognition of the fact that it can better serve
clients needs at a time when more investments are being made in private equity
than the stock market.

‘This group will help our clients make clear decisions, reduce risk and
deliver value for investors across the globe, from acquisition through exit
strategies,’ he added.
