Topaz has won a deal to supply its accounting, payroll and HR software to
recruitment agency Extra Personnel.
The Walsall-based company is Topaz’ nineth customer in the recruitment sector
over the past few months, including Reed Health Group and Westaff.
‘We suffer from the same problem as everyone else in the industry in that we
pay our temps within a week – then have to wait up to 60 days for our money,’
said Mark Stant, Extra’s finance director.
‘So one of the prime considerations we had in buying a new system was whether
or not it could improve our credit control situation.’
Extra also chose the Topaz Management Reporting module, a facility that
extends the capabilities of the production of reports.
The new system replaced Pegasus software, and the Topaz products were chosen
over those offered by both Pegasus and Microsoft Navision.
