Clark to leave dental business Oasis at the end of June - no replacement FD lined up yet
AIM-listed Oasis Healthcare has announced that finance director Jeremy Clark will leave the company at the end of the month, and has begun efforts to recruit a replacement.
Clark joined Oasis in March 2001 having served as group chief accountant at Informa Publishing.
Oasis, which operates over 120 dental practices in England and Wales, also posted an increased operating profit for the year of £3.9m from £3.5m, with turnover up by £1m to £74.9m.
Chairman Ron Trenter said the shortage of dentists in the UK ‘continued to be a limiting factor in the growth of the business’.
But the company stated that its revised debt repayment structure will potentially allow up to £4m to be invested back into the business over the current year.
Its share price had risen this morning to 11p from 10.5p.
