Chairman appointed to BAE audit committee
Michael Hartnall, the former finance director of consumer packaging group Rexam, will head up the audit committee of defence contractor BAE Systems.

Hartnall’s appointment as audit committee chairman was announced by the BAE board of directors, where he will serve as a non-executive director.
His is also a non-executive director at Elementis Plc and Lonmin Plc.
BAE chairman, Sir Richard Evans, said: ‘I welcome the appointment of Michael Hartnall. His considerable experience will clearly be an invaluable addition to our board.’
