Has the Exchequer decision come as a surprise?[QQ] Exchequer has been very successful over the last few years and is certainly viewed as one of the leading mid-range providers in the UK. Extending into this arena is a must for all mid-range providers.
What does the future hold for the CRM market?
It is difficult to see anything other than continued buoyancy. Companies at the corporate end have certainly enjoyed success and this looks likely to continue for the mid-market entrants. Certainly other software vendors are looking to develop in this area using internet technology.
What advice would you give vendors looking to develop their CRM range?
CRM has to be fully integrated because it has to link to areas such company sales history and stock levels. It does not make a good stand-alone product.
