FD of Big Food Group exits after buy-out

Bill Hoskins leaves 'by mutual agreement' after Baugur purchase.

Bill Hoskins has left his position as finance director of Big Food Group less than two months after its takeover by Icelandic retail investor Baugur.

The departure was made ‘by mutual agreement’, according to The Times, which said that Hoskins had initially intended to stay on as finance director of subsidiary Booker.

However, a new contract was never signed after the new owners decided he was not the right man for the job, the report claimed.
