PwC's forensic team gets new leader
PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Chris Lemar to head up its Dispute Analysis & Investigations (DA&I) 150-strong team in the UK.
PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Chris Lemar to head up its Dispute Analysis & Investigations (DA&I) 150-strong team in the UK.
PwC’s DA&I specialises in expert witness provision, investigative services of suspected fraud, intellectual property services, insurance claims services, construction disputes services and information technology support for the management of disputes.
Lemar is also head of PwC’s Insurance Claims Services and Construction Disputes Resolution Services practices across Europe.
He has acted as an expert witness in a wide range of insurance and construction claims, has appeared before international arbitration tribunals,is co-author of the authoritative guide for expert witnesses, ‘Litigation Support and Financial Assessment of Damages’.
Lemar started his career at Coopers & Lybrand is 1974 and has worked for the firm’s audit practice in Australia and in 1985 helped to establish Coopers & Lybrand’s specialist litigation support practice.
