Sileck, formerly CFO and senior vice-president at media company USA Networks, will take over from acting CFO Bob O’Connell and will oversee the implementing financial planning strategies aimed at enhancing profitability, in addition to overseeing TMP’s global finances.
TMP president Jim Treacy sung the praises of Sileck, a certified and public accountant, following the announcement. ‘Michael’s deep financial expertise and proven track record of success at USA Networks made him the clear front-runner to assume the duties of CFO at TMP,’ he said.
‘His ability to manage the finances of USA Networks’ multi-faceted media and commerce operations will translate nicely to handling TMP’s numerous business channels, and we’re extremely confident that he will make significant contributions to TMP’s continued revenue growth and profitability.’
