Customs launches web consultation

Customs & Excise has launched a project to improve its website and has asked users what they would like to see on its portal.

Earlier this year Customs was scrutinised by the ICAEW’s Tax Faculty for the quality and breadth of information available on the site. Customs said it was now looking to enhance its current approach as part of the government goal for all customers activities to be available online by 2005.

To gather users’ views, Customs has launched and online questionnaire to gauge expectations that users have about what a website ought to do and to record any suggestions which might be incorporated into the its design.
