Menzies
Chartered Accountants has promoted Andrew Mosby from manager to partner in
its Kingston-Upon Thames office. His task is to develop business in the
entrepreneurial owner-managed business sector, with particular emphasis on
young, growing businesses in the area.
Mosby who trained with Menzies after university, qualifyed as a chartered
accountant in 2001. ‘I am delighted that Andrew has achieved this promotion to
partner,’ Andrew Denley, Menzies Kingston office managing partner, said.
The appointment comes hot on the heals of Menzies merger deal with another
Kingston firm,
Carton Garrigan,
to create one of the biggest advisory firms to owner-managed businesses in the
area.
Denley said Menzies had enjoyed more than 12% growth in the last year and was
now a £30m business. ‘Because so much of our growth comes from our partner-led
business advisory services, there is ongoing demand for new partners,’ he said.
