SkyePharma appoints Ernst & Young as auditor

Changing of the guard at pharmaceutical group

Ernst & Young has been appointed as the new auditor to UK pharmaceutical
company SkyePharma following the resignation of long-standing auditor PwC.

In early August, PwC said that it would resign as auditor due to lead partner
rotation requirements after holding the post for ten years.

The appointment of E&Y followed a tender process for ‘certain qualified
auditing firms’.
