Mid tier firm appoints internal candidate to head up tax
Francesca Lagerberg has been appointed as Grant Thornton’s new head of tax
effective immediately.
Lagerberg will combine the role with her position as the head of the National
Tax Office. She is also a past chairman of the tax faculty of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and and currently chairs its
technical committee.
She succeeds Rob Withecombe who is to leave the firm at the end of June to
join Barclays Wealth.
