Eubank knocked out by Revenue
Former boxer declared bankrupt owing £1.3m in unpaid VAT
Former world champion boxer Chris Eubank was yesterday declared bankrupt, owing £1.3m in unpaid VAT bills to Revenue & Customs.
The declaration, made at the Royal Courts of Justice, could see the former sportsman stripped of his luxury car collection and the £1.6m seafront home occupied by estranged wife Karron and his four children.
Eubank, notorious for his lavish lifestyle and outrageous fashion sense, said in the Brighton Argus: ‘Over the years, I wish I had taken better advice. I appreciate this was my responsibility.’
