Chevron appoints Yarrington as CFO
Californian-based oil company Chevron recruits internally in crowning Patricia Yarrington as its new finance chief
Energy company Chevron has announced the appointment of Patricia Yarrington
to chief financial officer, effective from 1 January.
Yarrington has been promoted from position of treasurer for the company and
will also take on the vice-president role in conjunction with that of CFO,
according to
cnn.com
Dave O’Reilly, chairman and CEO of Chevron, said Yarrington is well-placed to
take on the senior leadership role, having proven experience in finance,
operations, strategic planning and public affairs.
‘Her financial background and strategic insights, along with her leadership
and judgment, will be important contributors to the company’s future success,’
he said.
She will replace Steve Crowe, who is retiring after 36 years with the
company.
