Buchler joins energy consultant

David Buchler, the turnaround specialist and chairman of Tottenham Hotspur FC, has joined Volvere as non-executive director.

London accountant Buchler was former president of business recovery body R3 and was also co-founder of turnaround firm Kroll, previously called Kroll Buchler Phillips.

Volvere, which floated on AIM last year, was set up as consulting service for the regulated gas, nuclear and rail industries.

It has acquired the lossmaking engineering consultancy, Vectra and the business consulting arm of PFI firm Amey.
