    AC drops plan to move HQ.

    Andersen Consulting has dropped plans to move to a new headquarters following its protracted divorce from Arthur Andersen. Six months before the firm was due to move in bosses have pulled the plug on the planned 15-year lease at the Lord Foster-designed building.

    The spectacular glass building is being constructed on the former Daily Mirror site at Holborn Circus in London.

    The cancelled move prompted speculation that AC was attempting to lighten its financial burdens prior to a flotation, a point denied by the consultancy.
