Specsavers views new accounting software
Specsavers' focus on finance leads to a new software acquisition
CedarOpenAccounts has won a £500,000 contract with Specsavers to provide it
with software to integrate all its financial systems.
The deal, which sees COA provide financial reporting, procurement expenses
management and replace some of Specsavers paper-based processes, will be
implemented across all its 745 stores, regional offices and head office.
The new contract will increase the number of core users as well as
introducing a further 4000 staff using the software.
COA has provided the opticians with centralised accounting software for the
past seven years, and the new systems will go live in Autumn.
