Accountancy Age - A new editor for the Age.
Accountancy Age has a new editor and deputy. Damian Wild, previously the news editor, will be taking over as editor and Liz Loxton, former features editor, has been promoted to deputy editor.
Wild joined Accountancy Age as news editor in January 1999. He was formerly a writer on CNNfn and chief reporter of Public Finance.
Loxton was features editor of the insurance industry weekly Post Magazine before joining Accountancy Age in April 1998.
The moves follow the promotion of Douglas Broom to head one of the operating companies of the paper’s owners VNU Business Publications. Broom, who became editor in August 1997, has been appointed general manager of Learned Information (Europe), a conference and exhibition business.
