Samsonite auditors request additional time

Luggage maker postpones annual results

KPMG, auditors of luxury luggage maker Samsonite, has requested additional
time to complete its audit, the company announced.

Samsonite was originally meant to release the operational results for 2005
yesterday.

The company is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of

luggage and markets luggage, casual bags, business cases and travel-related

products and its brands include Black Lack, American Tourister, Lacoste and
Timberland.
