PricewaterhouseCoopers is preparing a time capsule, catchily titled Gen EDGE: 2001 Perspectives on the Power and the Promise of E-business, to 'celebrate the impact of the internet on e-business.'
But unlike the famous Blue Peter time capsules, this one will not be buried for future generations to unearth and marvel at the primitive technologies from the turn of the millennium.
Instead the Big Five firm, with online publisher ZDNet, is planning a virtual capsule that celebrates the impact of the internet and e-business. What’s more you won’t have to wait fifty years to see what’s in it, as the contents will be available for public viewing online.
PwC is inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the project because, in their words, ‘together we can change the world’.
