CIPFA poll results

Diane Colley, chief executive of Rugby Borough Council, came top of this year’s CIPFA council election polls. Margaret Rawding, Blackpool Borough Council’s principal accountant, came second, pushing last year’s poll-topper, Chris Hurford, associate director of the Audit Commission, into third place. Over 4,644 members voted in the elections, a 17% increase on last year’s turnout.
