PricewaterhouseCoopers has launched a handbook aimed at ensuring companies meet the standards of the new regulatory environment, now under the full control of chief business watchdog, the Financial Services Authority.
The handbook Staying on Track: Embedding N2 within your organisation is aimed at educating senior management of their responsibilities within the new framework, particularly with regard to technical changes.
According to PwC, these changes may affect the way in which many people throughout an organisation carry out their daily roles.
‘For many organisations, meeting the FSA’s requirements at N2 was the primary goal, and consideration should now be given to how successfully those requirements are embedded within day to day business operations,’ it said.
The FSA assumed its full regulatory powers under the The Financial Services & Markets Act 2000 at the beginning of the 2001.
