E&Y named best Islamic finance advisory firm for 2006

Ernst
& Young’s Islamic Financial Services Group
(IFSG) has been named as the
best Islamic finance advisory firm for 2006, by
Islamic Finance News.

IFSG is a specialist group within the firm that caters to the specific needs
of both Islamic and conventional financial institutions requiring Islamic
financial advisory services.

Sameer Abdi, head of the IFSG accepted the award at a ceremony in Dubai.

The awards event recognized organisations for their excellence in
performance, leadership and contribution to the Islamic finance industry.
