Deloitte completes US BearingPoint acquisition
US firm acquires services practice for $350m cash
Deloitte’s US firm has finalised the purchase of BearingPoint’s North
American services practice after the consulting firm collapsed into bankruptcy.
It paid total consideration of $350m in cash, and will also assume a number
of BearingPoint’s outstanding liabilities.
Deloitte said the acquisition will bring additional capabilities to help it
serve more clients in federal, state and local governments in the US.
