PwC Bank of England audit.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has beaten off Big Five rivals to retain its prestigious Bank of England audit. The bank launched the competitive tender earlier this year as part of a drive for good corporate governance. PwC earned #133,000 for its 1999-2000 audit work compared to #147,000 the previous years, and a further #126,000 for non-audit work.
