according to Lord Stevens’ inquiry into whether there is a ‘bung culture’ in
Stevens said that the FA and compliance unit fails to have
credibility with the public, and one of the main reasons behind this is a lack
of accounting expertise.
He has also recommended the creation of a new body to audit football

Of 362 transfers, Lord Stevens has targeted 17 that
