Phoenix set to sign off Rover accounts

Board meeting to discuss car maker's accounts today

Phoenix Venture Holdings, the former owners of MG Rover, are expected to sign
off the company’s 2004 accounts today at a board meeting.

Auditors Deloitte have not yet finalised the figures though and this could
still hinder attempts to complete the accounts ahead of a deadline set by
Companies House for the company to file.

Companies House warned the holding company three weeks ago that they must
file accounts within a month or face prosecution, the Financial Times reports.
