Revenue offices open this weekend for last minute self-assessment tax return rush

About 300 Inland Revenue offices will open this weekend to receive last minute self assessment tax returns and payments from taxpayers who have still to meet the 31 January deadline.

Any tax payer who has received a self assessment tax return and has not yet sent it in can hand the form in at any Inland Revenue Enquiry Centre, the Inland Revenue said today.

The Enquiry Centres will also accept payments of tax.

Details of the offices that are open and the opening times are available on the Inland Revenue website at www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk
