The initiative – to be called ACCAdemy.com – will include facilities for online tuition and support for students and professional development programmes.
Anthea Rose, ACCA chief executive, said: ‘This new initiative makes ACCA qualifications and subsequent professional development even more accessible more worldwide.
‘ACCAdemy.com will use the power of the internet to create a global learning community, bringing education and training within reach of anyone with an internet connection’.
Student training will include a ‘virtual campus’ – complete with web training – following a deal between the institute and tutors BPP.
Meanwhile five professional courses will be run including international accounting and business strategy and modules will count towards ACCA’s CPD requirements.
