As Accountancy Age’s own campaign to raise awareness about the move to global standards gathers momentum, Atos KPMG has been warning clients not to wait any longer.

Gary Reader, MD at the consulting firm, said: ‘Not only will IAS impact the whole business, but the timescales for implementation are now very short. The deadline for compliance is less than 12 months away and failure to give the topic urgent attention could have significant adverse impact on business performance.

According to Reader, the key to success is making IAS a priority now.

Reader will present a masterclass on this topic at Softworld Accounting & Finance as part of the show’s educational programme.
