Crunch time for Huntingdon auditors
Animal rights activists will find out this week if animal testing lab Huntingdon Life Sciences has managed to protect the auditors of its UK accounts.
The company’s 2003 accounts are due at Companies House at the end of this month otherwise the company will receive a fine.
Last year Deloitte was forced to end its relationship as auditor of HLS after an intense two-week campaign by Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty. However the company managed to avoid similar scenes with the auditor of this year’s US group accounts, Hugh Scott PC, as SHAC have been unable to trace the firm’s whereabouts.
