Big Four firm PricewaterhouseCoopers has quit professional
services organisation
Birmingham
Forward , saying it wants to concentrate on a more
region-wide approach.
The firm said it also wanted to rationalise the number of representative
bodies it supports.
It will remain part of
Birmingham Future, Forward’s
youth wing, and the associated ethnic entity,
Birmingham Divercity.
KPMG and Deloitte are both members of Birmingham Forward.
Membership costs range from £200 to £800, depending on the size of the
organisation.
Diane Benussi, chairman of Birmingham Forward, commented: ‘We are obviously
disappointed to see PricewaterhouseCoopers deciding not to renew its
membership.’
