Treasury outsources agency payroll functions
The Treasury has awarded a contract worth more than £5m to IT services provider CMG to provide payroll services to 13 government agencies.
The consortium includes the Office for National Statistics, the Treasury solicitors and the Crown Prosecution Service, though the contract is also open to other government bodies.
‘Winning a contract of this size is a great endorsement for CMG,’ said Philippa Goodyear, managing director of HR services at the company.
