The finance director of Luminar, the UK’s largest nightclub operator, is leaving the company after seven years, and just weeks after its operations director left. Link: 3i appoints new finance director
FD Andrew Burns will remain in his post until a successor has been chosen, the company said.
‘Andrew will be presenting the results and accounts for the year to 28 February 2005 when they are announced in mid-May and is subsequently expected to leave the company after a handover period with his successor,’ a company statement said.
Luminar has appointed search consultants to find a new FD.
Stephen Thomas, chief executive, said: ‘Andrew has been with Luminar since 1997 and has contributed enormously to its success. Luminar has benefited from his companionship and professionalism.’
