Struggling retail industry leads to another administration

The UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of assembled cabinet furniture has
entered into administration.
Employing 556 employees and based in Sunderland, it has blamed significant
losses on the severe retail downturn in the UK over the last 12 months.
Ian Green and Edward Klempka of PricewaterhouseCoopers have been appointed joint
administrators.
‘We are currently undertaking a full review of the business with a view to
trading on while we seek a buyer,’ said Klempka.
